OK..dialysis for 5 years. I stopped urinating in January and noticed some changes then...lower energy level but blamed it on working so much over xmas (I work for a major package delivery company and xmas is hectic). But now the rush is on again and SUDDENLY I have no energy. I sleep more and it takes me forever to recuperate. Many times when I bend over and stand up I get dizzy. This isn't first thing in the morning..this is ALL DAY.
Hematocrit, hemoglobin, white count haven't changed. Before this I was 'normal" I could could a 12 hour day delivering packages with no trouble. Now I'm dead in the water.
Any ideas?

What are your settings on the machine? What is the total dialysate you use, the flow fraction, the time on machine, the number of days? Also what is your weight , your height , age, hematocrit, and what amount of fluid do you remove?
I am interested in your URR also. All this comes down to are you getting enough dialysis after your kidneys failed completely. That changed everything. Your pre BUN could have risen ? What is it now compared with before? What is your post BUN? What is your Kt/v that your clinic gives you monthly?
I would look at all that to see if you are getting adaquate dialyis now. The other things that come to mind is fluid and how much you put on and remove. Also your blood pressure pre, during and post.
You should talk to your nephrologist. If you can give some of these figures I can at least do some thinking but cant diagnose or treat you. I may have some ideas to talk with your nephrologist about.
Also , any changes in meds?
You can send a private message if you dont feel comfortable doing this on here.

I've experienced the same thing. However my labs have changed....for the better. My Hgb is up from 10.7 to 12.1. Go figure.
I think for my it's stress. It's kicking my butt.
