Babycake, here is the phone number of one of the worlds most helpful people, who works at DaVita. Her name is Cathy and her number is 866-956-3605. I jokingly told her I was going to post her name and number on this forum for complaints and she said she wants me to, so people and complain to her and maybe she can help them. So, give her a call, she is really knowledgeable.

If not happy, you DO NOT have to continue getting your meds from DaVita.  Just rescind your approval, verbally and in writing, and go back to the local pharmacy you were happy with.  I don't know where you live, but if there is a COSTCO Pharmacy, they usually have the best cash prices (you do not need a membership to use their pharmacy services).  This is important if you have a drug coverage policy with a donut hole and/or meds not covered under the policy (mine doesn't cover the dialysis vitamin I take).  Walmart Pharmacy also has good prices.

Please don't let DaVita strong arm you if unhappy.

Cathy is the very very helpful lady at Da Vita, who sends me my Procrit. while chatting one day, I mentioned IHD and she said it sounded interesting and she will take a look. I told her there are some people who are very angry with DaVita and their service. I jokingly told her if she wasn't nice to me I would put her name and phone number on our website and she urged me to do just that. She says it is part of her job and she wants to help people who have had problems with DaVita. So, there you go.
