Title: Hello from Grants, NM
Post by: tattooscott on November 01, 2013, 10:20:36 AM
My name is Scott, a 44 year old male.  I live in Grants, NM, which is a small town half-way between Gallup, NM, and Albuquerque, NM.  I started dialysis in Feb, 2013.  I have end stage renal disease, diabetes, and hep c, all due to my crazy lifestyle.  I am glad to find a site that is there to support dialysis patients.  I see a bunch of stuff for cancer and other health issues, started to feel sort of alone.  Was referred to this site and now I see others are in the same boat as I am.  I have a wife and tree kids, ages 16, 11, & 8.  I am thankful to have been accepted to join this site.  And I look forward to exploring and learning and sharing with others who may understand better what I am going through.  Thanks   :2thumbsup;

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

I am in Gallup, NM, for the night.  My son is playing in the Four Corners Regional Football Playoffs.  Instead of traveling early in the morning, we decided to come in this afternoon.  Ate an awesome early dinner and now hanging by the pool.  Can't swim yet cuz just had the fistula put in my arm October 14.  But it is nice to see kids having fun.
