I was having a look at the Kidney Patient Guide web site today, in the Introduction section they had some quotes from, (supposedly) renal patients, and, I noticed this one:-
Having been diagnosed as having kidney failure, I was in a state of mental limbo! Not knowing what to expect... then I was introduced to the Haemodialysis Clinic. The staff are so professional and caring - you are put at your ease straight away. In the end, it’s just like going to a club. The friends you make at the Unit are all in the same boat as you. It can be tough at times but it can also be fun. - J.M.
My question is, where is this unit, cus, I want to go there!

That's how my unit is! They're like family to me! I just hang out there after appointments to see if I can help out if I have nothing else to do that day! lol I know that makes me sound like a loser! lol 19 and hanging at the dialysis center instead of actual clubs! Yup, that's me!! lmao
