My comment: Michelle MacKinnon and I met years ago when we connected through share pages we had for our sick kids. Both Jenna and her son David had similar urological conditions that caused their kidneys to fail. Tragically, David died on the day Michelle was scheduled to give him her kidney. He was 18 years old.
Through their grief, Michelle and husband Dave have moved forward with a commitment to help other patients and families affected by kidney disease.
