I am the mom to an adult, son who is just starting pd. There is so much to learn it is sometimes overwhelming. Glad to see so many and learn from all experiences.

:waving; I remember how overwhelmed I felt when I was first diagnosed! Many IHDers came to my rescue with sound advice and words of encouragement and comfort, as they will for you. Welcome to IHD. I hope your son does well on PD. There is much information on other threads, and if your questions aren't answered already, don't hesitate to ask.

You have come to the right place to learn about PD. I spent many hours looking at different threads and learned quite a bit of info about PD here.

Welcome dialysismom, and I hope we can help as you go through this experience. Ask away, someone likely has been there and done that and can answer questions for you.

Welcome DM ;) We all (cargivers/partners/ patients :) ) are all here for you and your son. Im caregiver/partner to hubby who has been on hemo for about 3 1/2 years. Almost 2 1/2 years of those we have been on 'home hemo' w/nxStage. It's all good, wish we could have gone PD but this is what we got so we feel blessed it's available :) Im so glad you found your way here as it really REALLY eases your heart to know of how do-able it all is, and when your feeling its not, well, were here to lean on. :flower;
