Post by: willielt1 on April 03, 2013, 11:32:03 PM

So I have Been Doing Dialysis Once a Week (Wendsday Night) ... for 3 Hours for the past 13 months My Bp Is Fine ... and all my lab work is within

   Range ...

I have been compairing the lab work from when i was origanally doing the 4 hour 3 days a week treatments ... and they are real close....

I still Urinate ... and i feel fine ... I work a 40-50 Hour work week Driving a fuel truck... . . . all the docotors where concerned about

was having me sit in that chair. for the Cash .. One Doctor even told me ... " just come in for 1 Hour and Sign yourself out." ...

I beleive i do need Dialysis ... But Not three times a week ..  One month I went for 11 days without dialysis and they told me if i do it again they

will not let me back in and i will have to go to the hospital ...   Anyone else ever go though this??

There was a guy at my unit that just said "to hell with this" and quit and lasted about a year and a half and then he got sick enough to come back for 3 times a week.   There are different levels of kidney function.  You are lucky enough to only go once a week.  Maybe your kidney function will stay there for awhile.  I hope so.

You are correct in that they want to fill that chair $$$$.
