Title: Hi, Iam a PD patient

I had Kidney transplant 15 years ago and now it gave up on me and started PD since December.   I am vey glad to find this site. Thanks.

Welcome & hello pd patient.  PD is a good choice, especially when you control your own care. My husband did it for 5yrs.  Just be sterile and very careful.  Do as they trained you to do, and it should be ok.

I'm caring for my mum, Elsie who has KF and Parkinson's Disease...

She's on CAPD which I administer because she's too shaky to do it herself....

We're a friendly bunch, so have fun, and visit often....
