I have had another eye blow out again. I have had thousands of laser zaps to the back of my eyes and injection of meds that helped for over a year. Now I need to drive to dialysis this morning with one good eye. I am glad it is not snowing. I am just a bit concerned the other eye may go. That has happened a few times. It makes it very difficult to drive, people have to get off the sidewalks when I come by. ::) Just wondering how many others have this problem.

On Thursday Ed started eye injections again it's been about 1and a half years since his last bout. It's only in the right eye right now. He has been dealing with this for about 6-7 years on and off.
I wish you the best.

I lost sight in one eye after laser treatments due to a very quick session of detached retina, a surgery after that one due to severe pain, then surgery for glaucoma pressure.
After a little over a year I got back to driving. I had many worries, but missed it so much. There are techniques to use to drive with one eye and there are schools that can teach and evaluate you.
If your scaring yourself while driving, don't drive! your mind is trying to save you from financial troubles associated with the car.
I still have sight in one eye and opthalmologist and retinal doctors are vigilant to keep it that way.
