Two photos:
The first is of a little boy named Noah. His costume for Halloween is something he is very familiar with as he waits for his second kidney transplant. He's a pretty nifty Dialysis Machine.
Second is from our friend Stacy. He says, "I created this as part of a pumpkin carving contest we had at the station a few years ago. It perfectly describes how I feel every treatment. And a member of the staff was nice enough to give me the tubing. I also had fun making the fake blood."

That is a pretty awesome dialysis machine....
Yesterday, one of the guys who sits next to me in dialysis told one of the new student nurses that it was tradition for the nurses to dress up for Halloween. She didn't believe him, so she turned to me. I pulled out my phone and showed her a picture from last year of one of the nurses dressed at fat Elvis. I think we've got her scared. *L*
Since we're in the hospital now, they're probably not allowed to dress up anymore, which kinda sucks. That was always the fun part of coming into dialysis on Halloween

No treats at the center on Halloween, at least I got nothing. Plus no one dressed up. Boring!
-
Most of them were dressed up.. I was surprised... There were 2 devils, a witch, a pirate, a cowboy, a builder, a rabbi, and a vampire
-
the dialysis center gave us a funsize pack of skittles

The vampire came around with a tray of treats.. *G* I chose a gummy foot.. *LOL*
