I have always been a fisherman. When I got sick and found myself put on dialysis and I couldn't work anymore I was rather depressed. There was a lagoon close to home where I was able to go to and throw out a line. It was so enjoyable to spend time in the park and rediscover my energy in a sport that I loved and it motivated me that I still had something left in the tank. My passion came back and in time I improved both physically and emotionally through a most difficult time. Find something that you love, the sun will come back in your life.

I love the message in your post. Find something you love and do it.

I agree - my love is motorcycle riding. BUT with the colder weather coming on, the bike may sit in the garage a bit more than I would like. But Spring and Summer are coming and then on the road again. Grumpy

I agree! Bought a Can Am Spyder trike this summer and have really enjoyed it. As Grumpy says, it's getting onto fall and winter, so the bike will likely be in the garage more than I like, but even here in Colorado I've ridden at least once every month of the year. Thoroughly enjoy it!

All about rediscovering a passion that gets you back in the ball game. When I got out of the hospital the first time I figure I had 5 years left. Five years have come and now I feel I got twenty more at least.

Joe - Great - a friend of mine has a spyder too. He loves his too. I still can't get past 3 wheels and 2 up front. Just now beginning to accept 2 wheels in back as a bike. But that is just me. And I don't have a problem with anyone else riding 3 wheels - not that kind of guy. Grumpy

Had a Road Glide before, so I can say 'been there, done that'. The Can Am is really a different ride, and I really like it. As they say, it's not what you ride, it's that you ride.

I still hunt and fish. I also ride an old Goldwing Aspencade. Cannot use a bow because of the fistula, so I use a cross bow.
