Hey Now
My husband got Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis from an MRI years ago. He has way too many co-morbidities to participate in any of the studies in our area. We have been unable to find anyone who can tell us what to expect in the future. His skin is affected all the way up to his chest now and he has a LOT of mobility issues. Two times now he had bumped his knuckles on something and taken big chunks of skin off that take weeks to heal. I'm wondering if anyone out there is being treated for this. I know there is no approved treatment and little info on what can or will happen in the future. I've searched the web extensively but have found very little useful info and even less from any of his Doctors.
If anyone has any good links or some knowledge about NSF we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
