Title: travel to hawaii with nxstage

Hello all,\

we are planning a trip to hawaii in Sept. and my home dialysis nurse just told me that Nxstage does not deliver supplies to Hawaii!!!!!!  Have any of you travelled to Hawaii on NxStage? 
The travel paperwork I got from nxstage says that the dialysis center is responsible for any excess freight charges for delivery to Hawaii.  I will gladly pay those charges if it comes to that.

What are your experiences?

suggest that you join Home Dialyzers United and contact Gretchen Stanbury.  she travels to Hawaii with NxStage.

There are only a few centers in Hawaii and they only receive dialysate supplies ( cartridges/dialysate) a few times per year because of the expense.  You may have to have it shipped at your expense.  Last I heard, They will only ship to the 48 continental US.
