Title: discomfort in my graft
Post by: sullidog on August 12, 2012, 09:50:06 PM
Back in May I had a suto annerism repaired on the arterial end of my graft (mine is connected to my brachial artery) they used a new segment of graft to bypass it, the aneurism is still there but there's no blood going through it. Recently when they've been sticking the new segment of graft during treatment I will start to have some discomfort from my arterial down to my rist, it's like a very achy feeling until I'm off treatment. I have my anual checkup with my surgeon at the end of the month but I was wondering, has anyone else experienced this? If they stick anywhere else it's fine.
Thanks.

Good morning, sullidog.  I'm so sorry to hear this is happening to you.  As you may remember, I have a graft too, but I've never experienced this, in spite of having two pseudo aneurysms.  Just wanted to give you some moral support.  All the best to you, as always.
