Title: NxStage
Post by: cev on February 15, 2007, 06:07:13 AM
I have NxStage questions.   We have been using NxStage at home for 11 months with very few problems.  I have not kept up on some of the discussions so forgive me if I repeat questions already addressed.  First question:  what do you do with all of those wonderful little plastic caps?  I am saving them and looking for a use.   2) Has anyone figured out how to attach 1 1/2 drain lines - I know one line will connect, the second line we are using the needle cap to connect, but I am looking for a connector.  3) We are with Kaiser, how do you address wrong pharmacy supply deliveries? - like the 19 gal sharp container.  4) what do you do when you need to respike the saline bag after everything is hooked-up and running - currently I open a new cassette and disconnect the blood lines and use what I need.  5) Who do you call with problems when you are hooking up (not machine related)?   5) I am going to read the pureflow posts, doesn't sound like something we want to get into with the problems they are having and I look at hanging the bags as part of my exercise program.
