....any time!
I went for my transplant evaluation at University of Wisconsin - Madison last Wednesday, 7/18. Got the call today that I made it through the selection committee and that my transfer of waiting time (14 months!) has been approved as well.
Next step is to wait for tissue typing and insurance approval which will be about three weeks. They told me to start making plans and getting things packed because this snowball is a rollin'.

Cattlekid, what is the average wait time for your blood type where you are?
-
Mogee, the average wait time for my blood type (A) is 3-5 years here in Chicago. I'm cutting this in a third by going up to Wisconsin.
