Title: Filters for NxStage?

Can any filters be used with NxStage or are you limited to what they will carry?

By filter, I assume you are talking about the "kidney". The NxStage system uses complete cartridges that contain all the tubing, the filter, etc.

I don't know how you would put in another filter.

Their website says it comes with or without filter attached to tubing.

I think the ones without the filter are for acute, in hospital settings.  For home hemo, I don't think you would have that choice.
