It's just really an add on to my engagement ring, because I couldn't find any band that I loved. So here are pics of the engagement ring on it's own, and then the wrap/enhancer thing I got in lieu of a band. The original design of the enhancer was all diamonds, but I am not a diamonds girl, so I added 1 small ruby on each side to break it up. The pic of the 2 together didn't come out stellar, but you'll get the idea. What do ya'll think? Tony hasn't seen it yet - he was in the hospital when I picked it out and since he's still there, he's yet to see it. I just sort of showed him a picture online and told him what it would kinda look like.

I'm doing okay ... Bored and I miss his company. I hate sleeping alone. And after Marcus is in bed, I get really bored. Nobody to talk to and summer TV stinks.
I'm still getting over the fact that aside from my car, this one little thing that I wear is the most expensive thing I own. :)

Oooh, that's gorgeously scrummy! Tony will love it! (As much as boys like these things, anyway!)

It's daft isn't it? My wedding and engagement rings combined are worth quite a bit and I think nothing of wearing them constantly, even to do the washing up.

I can't wear mine anymore, it's too big, since I've lost so much weight. :rofl;
I *used* to retain a lot of my fluid in my fingers pre renal failure.

Can you have it resized? Both of mine came with lifetime resizing. I was afraid the one I got Tony wouldn't fit but it does. He just can't wear it right now because he's got do much fluid in his left arm. I hope it goes down.

It's absolutely beautiful! :2thumbsup; One of the prettiest I've seen. The rubies are a nice addition.

Love it! Can't wear mine because my fingers have grown.
-
Stunning! I, too, love the rubies. What a nice twist on tradition!

Haha yes, because nothing about this whole thing has been traditional.

Yup, it amazes me that I have this tiny little band of rocks that's worth more than my car, too! (I had my wedding diamonds reset into a lovely right hand piece.)
Traditional is over-rated anyhow!

Oh SNAP! Isn't that the truth? LOL!

Gorgeous!
Yes, it takes some getting used to, wearing that kind of dosh on your finger. Disturbing story to follow: G and I honeymooned in Africa, and when we were checking out of the resort in Mauritius the man at reception asked where we were going next. We told him Zimbabwe. He told us to be careful, and then said that his parents were in a taxi in Zimbabwe and the taxi in front of theirs had a person sitting with their arm out the window, and some man barreled up on a motorbike, chopped the person's arm off with a machete and rode off with the dismembered limb and the diamond rings on the hand. Needless to say we locked our rings up in our in-room safe in Harare and never wore them in public.

Three years ago, It was too small due to the fluid in my fingers so yes, I had it re-sized, made 'bigger'
Then with all the weight loss in the last 1.5 years, the ring is too big now LOL
I'm waiting to see if/when I ever have a transplant, if I gain some weight, to see if it will fit then. I don't want to keep re-sizing it. I don't know if that would be any good for my ring? (so for now I'll just leave it the way it is) ???
I can wear it comfortably on my swear finger :rofl; But, if I were it on the proper finger it just literally slides off! LOL

Pretty, pretty, pretty!
My wedding ring was a "hand-me-down" from some old uncle's of Carl's. VERY nontraditional. But the marriage has lasted for more than 43 years. :2thumbsup;
Enjoy the lovely setting. It is prefect! I love the way the two rings fit together.
