Title: My New Adventure Starts

Catheter implanted Monday.  Got a flush today Tuesday.  All your post have really help me have a good attitude about this.   Great Site

Good luck travbug! My husband finds it ok, is getting by. Guess we are relieved it finally started and going on from here, after worrying for a yr he would have to go on dialysis.

I was relieved when I finally agreed to start PD dialysis. It proved to be an immediate improvement. It allowed me to live, to shrink the large amount of fluid buildup in my legs, and improved my overall health. It wasn't perfect,but it was much better than the eventual alternative.
