Title: Transplant Surgery is in August ( What should I expect)
Post by: krismimo on June 18, 2012, 03:12:43 PM
Hey everyone! I'm coming down from cloud nine a little :). So for those of you that had a successful run with your transplants how were the few months for you? If you were the donor how was i tlike for you what changes if any did you have to make to your lifestyle? And that means for the both of you. I'm trying to get a basic understanding of what I can prepare myself for the next few weeks. Any advice would be great thanks for following up everyone!

There are SO many posts about this very thing on this forum!  Chook, KarenInWA and RichardMEL are but just a few of IHD members who have posted all about their experiences as recipients, and Poppy has posted extensively about her experiences as a donor.  Just scroll around and you will find plenty of advice and information that you will find very helpful.  Happy reading!!

If you are going to be on Prednisone just know you will be hungry.  Fight it or you will gain weight.
