Title: New Innovations being explored by the AAKP

    An implantable Renal Assist Device (iRAD) being developed by the University of California, San Francisco.
    A Wearable Artificial Kidney (WAK) in development by Blood Purification Technologies Inc. of Beverly Hills, Calif.
    A Hemoaccess Valve System (HVS) that has been designed by Greenville, S.C.-based CreatiVasc Medical.

Good info.  I'm looking to get into the  medical/research field and I enjoy reading about these things

None are in clinical trials yet, I don't think, so it might be many years before we'll know if they work.   ???

But at least they are trying to develop more options!  :2thumbsup;

I notice this section hasn't been hearing much news lately.  I wonder how all the research is going.
