three times a week
four hours each time
My fistula leaks.

At the TV I stare.
My IPAD battery is dead
and I'm stuck in this chair

The first hour goes fast.
The second hour gets slow.
By the fourth hour,
my blood pressure is low.

I got those dialysis blues.
But across from me.
Sits a Goddess from heaven.
Puking for all to see.

I got those dialysis blues
But I'm not sad
In four hours it's over
And I will be glad.
