I don't normally hook up till 6:30 in the evening, was wondering if I could set it up in the beginning of the day.

Yes you can set up early :2thumbsup; we confirmed through nxStage as well as you may to Make yourself reassured. You can run your Cartridge to the 23, turn off cycler (do NOT push stop) and turn back on when ready. It will beep (as in power failure) yu push 'treatment' again and it will run about 2 min to get back to th 23 and away you go. Makes for beautiful snap and tap too. I hope you use tech support. They're wonderful and will explain this better. We did this for snouts month as we liked getting up real early and it was real nice to be set up.

I would setup two to three hours in advance and just let it run in 23. I love it because the longer it ran, the easier the snap and tap was. Also I notice I wouldn't have as many alarms overnight as I use to get when just setting up and getting on right after.

dont ask me why this popped up twice!!!!!

I think you could set it up anytime you wish. As long as you are not hooked up, you are fine! I personally have not set it up without hooking him up, but don't see why it would matter when, if you are not hooked up. Now to sit in a particular mode for any period of time with out movement may trigger an alarm, informing you that " hey, Ive been sitting here and havent done a thing". Lol Seriously, I see no reason not to, especially if you are strapped for time. Try it, and see what happens! It couldnt hurt!
God Bless,

I often set mine up and then turn it off at the 23. I agree, it certainly helps snap and tap.
