Title: A Deep Dive!
Post by: galvo on March 14, 2012, 11:40:28 PM
I thought it worthy of mention to report that I crashed badly to-day. BP 64/31. And when I came to, I suffered bloody terrible cramps for ages. I am, however, still here!

 :cuddle;

They pulled off too much fluid, didn't they? ARGH!

I hope you can keep those cramps at bay and get them to up your dry weight.  :cuddle;

Aleta

Thank you, my dearies. That all happened yesterday, and the sun and I both arose this morning. Back to normal and twice as nasty. I had a fistulagram last week and had been feeling a bit wonky since then and, yes, Aleata, they were trying to pull off 4.5 litres. That's the last time I'm going along with that sort of nonsense. On the positive side, they have raised my base weight by .5 litre.

I do think, however, that Poppylicious thrashing me at Scrabble could be a contributing factor.

Well I usually have low BP on dialysis.  A crash for me is usually in the 50s somewhere.

Phew, hope you are feeling better to-day. My husband always says "as long as I wake up in the morning all's well"

Cramps!  I hate the cramps like a passion.  What I hate the most is that they pop up in different places.  One week it's the right leg, calf muscle.  The next time it's the fingers.   The next time it's the other leg.   Or the stomach.   I always take a bottle of water with me into dialysis and keep one in the car.  You never know when you're going to need it.  I mean, why wait for the nurse to give you fluid when you are suffering?
