Title: He lost the battle
Post by: tee on March 11, 2012, 04:34:28 PM: I have not posted on here in awhile, my fiance Jack who I was with for 26 years passed on 1/13/2012. The last six months of his life were very difficult, he got an infection in his foot lost June, and they had to amputate his toe, and he seemed to spiral downward after that. He was in the hospital every month, and I feel that he was just done with all of it, and could not go on any longer. I spent most of the time running to work, and running to the hospital. He was losing weight, and when he passed, he only weighed 127, and that was the smallest he had ever been since I have known him. During the last two months, he was unable to drive his truck, and could not even get in a a passenger. He could barely walk, and was losing the function of his hands and arms, and kept having breathing problems, due to fluid in his lungs. I know he is in a better place now, and is resting, free from illness, but my heart is broken, and I still cannot figure out to do with myself.

I am so glad you posted about this; we understand the pain you must be feeling after losing your fiance of so many years. I wish we could be there to help you, but we are HERE. :grouphug;

Post by: tee on March 11, 2012, 05:44:18 PM: Thank you to all, I know you all understand about Kidney disease, and what a toll it takes on the body, and how rough the Dialysis can be for some people. Not all understand this, and I have heard many comments that they never thought he was so sick. So I am glad this site is here.
