Well, got my annual physical done and passed everything with flying colors! I asked my Dr. to order my blood labs to check for everything my insurance would pay for. That way, if anything did come back unhealthy, I would know before going thru the entire processing of the Donor Evaluation. So, my TSH, blood glucose, cholesterol, CBC, Chem 12, and whatever else she tested for all came back well within the safe limits. :)
So, now I just wait for April 6th so get my Eval Day done: Fasting labs, EKG, chest x-ray, appt. with tx surgeon, appt. with tx coordinator, appt. with social worker, nutritionist, more blood work, tx nephrologist, CTR, and then finish up with a tx nurse. Whew! I'm getting tired just THINKING about this day! LOL I'm sure it will go fast!
