Hi
For me it was a surprise, but I did not see the doctor regularly due to many hours at work. Found out due to hypo attack that landed me in the ER. However it was not a big surprise since I already had eye complications from diabetes.

Welcome, and thanks for joining!!

Hi, nomathjobs, and welcome! Lots of good and generous people here who will try to help you over the rough spots. Wishing you all the best.

Hey, we want an explanation on the name, too! I read it as No Math Jobs - but maybe that's just me, because I prefer jobs with as little accounting as possible!

Yep, I read it as No Math Jobs, too.
Are you a math geek? :thumbup; Looking for a job? Sorry, Jbeany, I LOVE math. :2thumbsup;

Nomathjobs...welcome to IHD! :welcomesign; I also got a grin out of your user name since I suck at math! I have always said that math is the reason God allowed man to invent calculators and computers! :rofl;
-
Thanks for the welcome. About the name - I studied math in college and it reflects my job prospects upon gradyation: there were no math jobs. It sort of stuck after that.
I am in Idaho, near Boise. I work for a large semi-conductor company. Married with children. My wife is being very suppotive, even offering to donate if she is compatible.
Still having.a tough time with being "full" all the time, as I am doing CAPD but I guess I will get used to it
-
:welcomesign; nomathjobs, hope you like it here. I started with CAPD and moved over to CCPD after about a month. It does take a bit to get used to, but after the first couple of weeks, you don't even notice it (at least I don't any more). I feel more different empty than I do full. Let us know how you are progressing.
-
:welcomesign; Why did the accountant cross the road? So he could bore the people on the other side too! (Sorry, one of my music professors told that after a discussion on math vs music.) :rofl; Don't worry, not everyone here is as crazy as me!
-
:welcomesign; aboard! Ask anything you want, we are here for you and your loved ones. I am a spouse caring for my hubby too. Have the wife take a look see also, good caregivers section for her! Plenty of support for the whole family
Again Welcome & God Bless,

Been while since I dropped by. I am pretty much used to being full - feels a bit strange to be empty now.
Will be trying traveling next month - a week in Dallas. When back it is the cycle test - woo hoo
