Title: thank everyone, past and present for sharing...
Post by: breezysummerday on February 08, 2012, 04:57:15 AM
Deborah Willow

 ‎...sooo I looked up doctor google for the last 4 years.....and I hate dialysis, to figure out what the hell to fix/make him eat... for my love (diabetes and hyper tension) ....along the way....curry...No!....no starfruit, unload the phosphrus grains and realized after cutting out the potassium my man could eat just about most foods in portions...what I didn't figure into the equation was that there would be a younger, much more "funner" young lass that didn't focus soo much on his diabetes and dialysis....you can still have a drink or two...without counting calories..perhaps order a pizza....so be it after 24 years of caring and repairing, along comes someone else who would not focus on his limits..(fun while it lasted) ..In 2010 my man of 24 years got a transplant...young girl who had migrains...but no one listened to her as migrains are common, so she self medicated, so she was labeled a drug skeeker...37 year old female....went to the emergency department , was given what she requested and became brain lost..her young kidneys were filtered and divided...my man got one...wondering who else got the other one in the pacific northwest triangle....alaska, washington, oregon, Idaho...
 ....oh man, Ray did sooo wonderful at virginia mason with her kidney...our daughter watched after him..Virginia Mason wanted to hire our kid, the pre-nursing student...I was able though IHD to request that Brian Sierk be a back up and answer any questions our daughter might have had...Thank You Brian for being there..you have no idea how thankful I was to aquire your phone number!.
 ....Alas, my love and Karina's dad was taken from us ...5 months after transplant that was doing so well ..we will never understand the wicked thoughts of a derranged punk....I am forever grateful to everyone who shared ....do not think that your trials and tribulations are trivial....if it wasn't for IHD'S past trailblazers we would not have been so comfortable...........thank you

Although I don't know you, I would like to say how sorry I am to here about your husband, and how sad this had to happen so soon after his transplant.

Oh, Breezy...

I am so sorry. So sorry.

Does Joie know? She lost Wayne recently, too.

Debs,

This morning, I felt called to come to this site, and this section.  I now know why.

We speak without having to use words.  We speak from heart to heart.  I sit with you dear heart, sit with feet firmly planted on the ground.  Taking a breath, I think of you -   am at a loss to find meaning in what you have endured.

Words are not necessary.  What is there to say?

All I can do is take a breath and breathe along with you...

And I have been at a total loss of words, ever since I heard about Wayne. And I didn't write.... And I feel awful. But I have been thinking of you, your words that filtered into my heart like the sun dancing on the grass under a tree. Knowing that there was nothing that I could do, nothing that I could say, being so far away in space, but so close in caring.

All the hugs in the world will not take away your loss or Debs'.

I am sorry, it is so breathtakingly sad. I know words are slim consolation, I wish for you peace.  :grouphug; :grouphug; :grouphug;

Even though I never knew you on here, but I can express my deepest sympathy for your loss.  It is so hard to let go of those we love.  Keep the good memories you both had together, it will help some!

Again sorry to hear this.

This is a shock. I really don't have any kind of words (whoever does?) but my thoughts are with you at this difficult and upsetting time.

Sometimes things that happen in life are unfair and seem to have no rhyme or reason.

breezysummerday, I'm very saddened by your loss and have no words to express how unfair  I experience this to be.  I send you a very tight hug and hope that you will take some minor comfort from knowing that others care.   :cuddle; :grouphug; :cuddle;
