Where in the world did they come up with a 3 year survival rate being on dialysis???

I know, it's mind boggling - the survival rate number never seems accurate.
Of course, the overall health and age of the patient should be taken into account.
Part of the problem is that they are including 87 year old patients who survive
less than 3 months on dialysis, and there are many of those. But of course
reporters never take that into account. I wish I could find up to date, accurate
statistics, but most studies are at lest 10 years old. I have to believe things are
getting better.

Now it makes more sense how they came up with that number.
