This is my hon's first full week of CAPD after training last week. I'm happy to report that all's well so far. We're still learning his optimal transfer schedule/amount, diet and fluid intake, because he's had some lower than usual blood pressure, but overall he's doing great. We've been stressed about starting the big D for what feel like years now, but we're now in a good routine and I feel like we are finally stable again. I know many challenges still lie ahead, but I am grateful for today's medical advancements and our PD nurses. And happy to just be happy again. :)

So glad you are having a good start! :2thumbsup;

As someone new to CAPD and CCPD I can say hang in there. You can do this. You seem to be off to a good start. This site is a great place for info and support. I am so grateful for the help, info, and support I have gotten from various people here. They have been an invaluable resource for my wife and I.
