Post by: okarol on January 31, 2007, 11:05:44 AM
Doctors at National Institutes of Health (NIH) are conducting kidney transplant research focusing on minimizing immunosuppression, which may improve the quality of life after transplant.  Treatment is done at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, 9 miles north of Washington DC and conveniently located on the Metro Red Line (Medical Center Stop)  Parking is provided at no cost.  If you have end stage kidney disease , and are in need of a kidney transplant or would like to be a living donor it might be something you would want to look into.  All study related tests, medications, and procedures (including the transplant) are provided at no cost.  For more information please call: 1-800-411-1222 (TTY:1-866-411-1010) Refer to study 99-DK-0120 Se hable espanol  http://clinicaltrials.gov
