:christmastree; My Frsenius Center did good this year! Everyone got a dialysis friendly shirt. It is not as heavy as a sweatshirt. More like a real thick shirt. The sleeves open with a zipper depending on where your access is. And for me they even got the size right!
They are made by a company
called Libre. www.libreclothing.com.
We got a very nice cookbook Fill Your Plate. and one of the PAs and his son passed out snack bags.

We had a potluck and the nurse gave us all cups filled with candy and we did a gift exchange and I got a really pretty scarf.
I'll be back to the center Sunday night which is really Christmas so we may see some DaVita pillows or something.

No. Didn't last year nor this year.
However, I brought Christmas goodies in a basket/tin for everybody to share. Yesterday when I took the renal-friendly cookies and squares in for everybody they were a hit! :2thumbsup;

my FMC center gave us cookies, and had turkey and party platter type stuff for us.
-
We had a holiday brunch (w/ open bar!) :snowman; :christmastree; :rudolph;

I was given a gift bag with home made cookies and other goodies.
-
I got a Davita bag. :yahoo;

My Fresenius center gave out the Fill Your Plate cookbook and a gift bag with a dozen eggs and a microwave omelet maker. At least that's what the home dialysis side did. The in-center side may have done something different.
It was a very nice gesture. :)

In my FMC we received a very nice cookie-tin with some pretty un-nice cookies in it which were easy to remove (placed in bin cos sure the birds wouldn't like them either, and I didn't want to waist energy, time, potassium nor protein on them) O yeah, and a nice little card.
Merry Christmas everybody :cheer:

My Fresenius center gave us a Fill Your Plate cookbook. I had been in the hospital last week and they gave me a Living Well On Dialysis cookbook that I like better. I made 2 of the appetiser recipes to bring in and share today. One sweet and one savory. They were a big hit. Merry Christmas everyone!

We got a signed card and a $20.00 Walmart card. Same last year.
I gave it back and told them to give it to someone who needs it. I have all the money I need and then some. We are not friends. I am not family. I am a CUSTOMER! They provide a service just like an electrician or plumber....then I pay them. I prefer to keep it that way! :twocents;

This year Dialysis gave to me a card, and a nice little fleece sack with fleece hat, gloves, and scarf inside. Very nice of them!
I made every one of the employees at the clinic an ornament. 50 employess! lol
and baked some cookies for them.

Our Dietician and Social Worker made some Dialysis friendly Recipies and DaVita gave us a backpack / sack with a pen in it.

Davita gave us all backpack type bags. The nurses gave us cupcakes and cherry juice and also gave us little LED flashlights and stainless steel water bottles. The kidney foundation provided a very nice dinner at a local hotel. They gave away gifts and I won a fleece vest, very nice for dialysis nights.

Loma Linda gives you red medication bags every Christmas. But their best gift is that they care. That's why I like to give them gifts.
