Home Hemodialysis: Helping Patients Lead a Healthier Life!

Speakers:
Michael Alan Kraus, MD
Dr. Kraus is a Professor of Clinical Medicine and Clinical Coordinator of the Divison of Nephrology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is Medical Director of the Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD), Hemodialysis and Acute Dialysis Units. After three-failed transplants, Brian went on in-center hemodialysis. During college, Brian changed therapies and opted for peritoneal dialysis. After years on PD, complications forced him to again switch treatment options. After his success with PD, Brian choose to learn home hemodialysis and is currently in the training process.
