Title: NEW to the board.

HELLO ! My name is KEITH and I have PKD. I have been on dialysis for 16 mouths now . SO far so good I go three times a week . I live here in TORONTO ONTARIO CANADA. and I am 57 years old. I look forword to reading your posts and hope to chat with you some time.  Bye for now mrpike.

Ooooh, we have numerous members from Canada, and I know of one in particular from Toronto!  Perhaps she will have the time to log on and see your post.

So, how are you feeling after 16 mos on dialysis?  Are things going pretty well for you?  Let us know more, OK!?  I look forward to reading more posts from you.  Thanks for joining IHD!

Well I am starting to have some trouble with my feet . They are cold  burning and I have a lot of tingleing at night. But I new this was going to be a down hill thing . I just hope it does not go down hill fast.

Keith; 16 MOUTHS huh!  That is a lot of time. 
Circulation in your feet is the problem.  The answer is in what can you do to exercise your legs.  If you have diabetes, then tell me to mind my own business because I know nothing about diabetes.
So, there you are, I gave dumb advise then told you to forget it.  Makes you wonder why I post, doesn't it?

Yes, I am sober.  Booze has been forbidden for me by two doctors that are both smaller than me.  I may "occupy" their office.

Where are my manners?  Hello MrPike, a big warm welcome to you.  People here are nice, and give you a laugh sometimes.
And have good advice, they've helped me when my wheels fell off, no doubt about it.

Welcome, after 16 months on dialysis, you're hardly a virgin, but we'll welcome you anyway.   :yahoo;  I see Mr. Pain is having some fun with your feet.  I guess he gets tired of hitting us on the head.

  Welcome aboard from another Toronto member ( actally Mississauga )  but we're close.  Please stay in touch.  I've met with one of the other Toronto members a couple of times.  What hospital do you go to?   Do you still work?  I hope that you will visit often.   :welcomesign;
