Title: Monster winds here in So. Cal!!

The windstorm here last night was something I have not seen before - gusts to 100 MPH - no power for 12 hours, but it's back on now. Here's a set of photos I took today near my home. http://www.flickr.com/photos/karolfranks/sets/72157628238407645/
 Hopefully the wind tonight is not as bad.

OMG! I can't even imagine what that was like. when I see these kinds of weather reports, It just makes me glad i live in Mich!

Last time we had winds like this was 10 years ago. It's pretty rare. It was warm and sunny today and winds have died down, so things should be back to normal tomorrow.  :thumbup;

Thanks fo sharing your pics.  I hope no body was hurt or killed.  I used to live in Orange County and have family there.

One night of wind knocked down about 500 trees. Luckily there were no injuries or deaths. Power is still out for many families but utility companies are working day and night to fix it.

We had trees knocked down in the neighborhood, Really howled around 4 a.m.
