Hey peoples!,
I passed my flush and gush today. I went to the surgeon who put in the catheter and he removed the padding and gauze and said it looked good.
Next I went to the Dialysis Center and they tested the catheter with saline and it worked good. I am ready to start manual PD next week. My wife and I got some training on what we need to do to hook up, fill, and drain. Felt OK for a trial run. After reading many posts here I am confident my wife and I can handle this when it starts for real next week.
Thanks everybody for being so frank, and open about your experiences. It sure has been a help to a new person like me.
