Title: anyone else have a fistula going num?
Post by: sullidog on November 21, 2011, 06:40:00 PM
Just curious, does anyone else have a fistula that is going num? There's certain spots on mine where I can't even feel the needle because it's so num. I'd tell the surgeon about it but it's so nice not having to feel the needles that I don't wanna bring it up for fear he will fix it, so this may help some of you that don't like the needles, even on a graft with the latter technique after it's stuck, mine is a year and a half old you may not be able to feel it at all.

Mine is numb also. Stop worrying and count it as a blessing. I hardly ever fell either needle.

As scar tissue builds up the skin becomes number and less painful...the downside is that it becomes tougher and less elasticity so you may have to hold your sites longer.

Yeah, I think it's about done for, the scarring is so bad that it wouldn't run at all on Saturday and it sounds as if the surgeon can't remove it because it's so inbedded into the skin.
