Title: Any Women on Dialysis who have had an Endrometrial Ablation?
Post by: Cordelia on November 11, 2011, 05:59:30 AM
Any females dialyzing had an ablation to help reduce mentrual monthly flow?  Was it successful, not successful?  Would you share your good/bad experience please?

I have not had that but I want to give you some sympathy. It must be bad for you if you're considering having the procedure. Hopefully you can get some relief.

I discussed it with my gyno, but we went with a Mirena IUD as plan A.  No surgical risk involved, which my doc was worried about, of course.  The Mirena worked well, so I never moved on to the ablation.  He did consider it a viable option for a dialysis patient, though, if that helps any.

Thanks, Jeannea      :cuddle;       It's not pleasant having to put up with that every month.     :thumbdown;      :puke;
