it`s been doing ok for a while, and i mean ok,(not great). i needed a heart catherization to place a stent. the dye they use sent it over the edge.

Sorry to hear this..it's not at all how we want to start "seeing" you here more regularly. :grouphug;

Oswald, I am sorry to hear this. I would rather hear that you were out kicking up your heels and having a grand time. How has the adjustment been for you? Thinking of you. :cuddle;

Oswald. Welcome back, sorry all has not gone well. Will you be able to put your name back on the list? it must be awful for you to come back to dialysis. Look forward to getting to know you.

I've lost 2, so I know the feeling. It does suck to have only had it for a few years, but it's a few years of freedom. My second kidney came only a bit less than a month after I started dialysis the second time, so you never know what could happen

Oh, I am so sorry, Oswald.
Welcome back. Wish it were under different circumstances.

I'm sorry that the transplanted kidney is no longer working. :( My husband (katonsdad) had a transplant 12 years ago. His transplant stopped working a couple of weeks ago. They wanted him to have a heart cath a year ago, but decided not to do it because the dye would have killed what was left of his kidney. Now that the transplant has failed, they went ahead and did the heart cath. Luckly, they did not need to do surgery on his heart. I hope both of you can get another transplant soon.
