Title: Missing a Step

My tech turns to me to take my temp and ejects the tip at my head! o.0

I broke down laughing after that. I thought it was kinda funny, since it missed me.

I always wondered if you could get a good distance with those... they won't let me try, though...

Does your unit use the temp probes for the ear or the mouth?  I think the tips for the mouth would fly a little farther.

we have one of those too, but only a handful of patients use it.  I know that one has a medical reason for not using the one for the mouth, but I'm not sure of the others.
