Title: Labs today!
Post by: Kayholio on October 20, 2011, 12:27:55 PM
Got my labs taken today. The nurse said they'll be back sometime Saturday. The last set of numbers I had were:

Albumin 3.5 Calcium 9.4 Phosphorus 9.8 :( PTH Hahaha, at this one..3473.5 >.< Potassium 4.1 URR75
KT/V 1.53 and Hemoglobin 10.1

I've been doing CAPD at home on a regular basis for 2 weeks now, so hopefully my numbers will look better this time around.

I was given some samples of Sensipar and I've been taking them..so..we'll see how that goes. I'm currently waiting for my coverage to start, so I can't afford an RX of them.

Kayholio, ask your doctor or social worker about HealthWell Foundation. You may qualify for a grant and get your Sensipar for free, like me. :)
