Title: Renal Artery Disease

Hello All,
I am knew, i have Renal Artery Disease, Very scared, had stent put in in April 06 in left kidney  and it restenosised in 3 months, Doctor say no more can be done. I am 48 yrs old and suffered with high blood presure for 20 yrs. also have many other diseases, just need to make sure i am in the right group. And trying to understand how this has happened to me. I Know my kidney will die off think sooner or later. Thanks for letting me be apart of your group. I just hope it is the right place to be.   Kitt From N.J.

Kitt you are in the right group.  We have people on this site in pre, post and everything in between dialysis.  Best thing for you right now is to read, read, read.   I hope you find this site useful as well as entertaining.  Stay off dialysis as long as you can.  Be strong and try to include your family in the education process.

Of course you are in the right group!  Even if you had nothing to do with kidney disease, it would still a great place to be!  That is the kind of site this is, with lots to inform, entertain even.  So read the posts, ask questions, go to the chat, play some games in the arcade.  Just enjoy the site and all it has to offer.
