I'm not sure if this is something do to dialysis or not but sometimes I get low sugar. The lowest it's gotten was 65 and the hiest was 118.
Some of the numbers are 75 and 83. Both my neph and family doctor have said I don't have diabetes, but when my numbers get low like that I get dizzy and eating something clears it upright away. Can you still have low sugar and not have diabetes?

Diabetics only get low sugars when they take their meds and don't eat.
Your case is the opposite. Yours is Hypoglemia.

Yes - you can have low sugars without being diabetic. As Marina says, it's called hypoglycemia. It means your body is making too much insulin, not too little. Carry some sugary candy with you, and try to eat regular meals, but it's not really a big problem unless it gets to the point where you are passing out from it.

And I think maybe it is a good idea to eat nuts, grain, and that kind of things to keep your sugarlevels stable. Could make a hell of a difference. good luck

My phos is always hi so while that's a good idea to eat that, it may not be for me.

so is hypoglycemia common with dialysis?

What blood pressure meds are you taking?
Low blood sugar levels have been reported in people taking Inderal® (propranolol hydrochloride), as well as with other beta blockers. This side effect is more common in infants, children, and people with kidney disease or diabetes.
