well guys. I just got released from the hospital, I've been there since Monday. I've been dizzy all weekend and when I got to dialysis my bp was 182 over 115 which is very hi for me. They ended up admitting me so that they could run some tests which all came back negative. Along with the hi bp I had very hi creatnine and I was getting little dialysis because my center was only running me 2 and a half hours which they said my dr. wrote that order but he did not. Most of you know all the issues I've had with my center so I talked to him and he did find me a new one so I don't have to go back to that hole anymore!
I'm glad to be home though but I do go to a hospital that is very good with renal patients, better then the other hospitals in my area so that's why I always go to that one accept for my vascular work I go to another one for that.
I hope this center works out for me and I look forward to catching up with your posts

hope things are looking up now with a new center

Sorry to hear of these issues you're going through. Having to deal with a Center that is not meeting your needs has got to be very aggravating to say the least. Having to be hospitalized is no picnic either...been there/done that.
Sounds like you've got a better Center lined up, hoping that works well for you.

I am sorry you had to get so sick before they paid attention to the lack of dialysis you were getting!
Good to see you back here. Please take care!

Hurray for a new center! Hope this one is more on the ball.

So, basically you're saying that you had to be hospitalized because you were getting crap dialysis????????????
If getting into a better clinic is the result, then there's your silver lining, but geez, at what price? I'm eager to hear how you fare at the new clinic, so be sure to tell us!
So glad you're home!

Glad you're out and going to be in a better place. :clap; It sucks that it takes a hospitalization/sickness to get the attention you need.

I started new clinic today, good so far.
I did get an explanation about why 2 and a half hours, they told my neph it was because I had such a hi KTV and a good URR that they felt it was necessary to cut me back like that. Now I'm 3 and a half hours and feeling better.

hi,
Well Im sure glad that you were able to leave that other horrible dialysis clinic. That totally sucks that you had to be in the hospital for that long. Do they have you on bp meds now?

Well, they were wrong, weren't they.

I'm not on bp meds, they don't wanna put me on them because my bp doesn't stay hi long enough, take today for example, it was a non dialysis day and my bp was actually low in the low 100's.
Yep, they were wrong! with the 2 and a half hours I had a ktv of 1.8 which is a bit above normal, but I think I want better!
