She passed by us, but didn't come too close. We had mainly high winds and some rain - and electricity and water off for a day or two. How are you others in her path faring?
-
Yep. My best friend is in NYC. She says that it's rainy. She's not in any of the evacuation zones, though. I spent a few hours yesterday trying to figure out if she was. Cuz public transportation is shut down, she missed out on work this weekend. I don't think she's overly impressed. We're supposed to just get a bit of rain and wind here (Prince Edward Island), but I think what's left of the storm will be to our west, headed towards Quebec

Quite a few in NY and Jersey. Donna, Zach, Anna...to name a few. Hope they are doing ok. I'm in Allentown PA. No problems here.

Picking up lots of yard debris. Lost a lot of branches and a large one fell on the gutters, but missed the roof. Thank goodness. East of us got 15 inches of rain and the coast is quite a mess. Irene hung over NC for 11 hours. She really likes us!
WillieandWinnie got lots of flooding, but they are safe. :2thumbsup;

I saw this afternoon on CNN that there was a tornado warning in NC too. I forget the town, though

I was on the West Coast at Ocean Shores, WA and every trail leading to the ocean had a Tsunami sign so then I was scared to death that there could be an earthquake in the ocean and I would hear a siren and where would I run..... the second floor of the hotel?
How do people live there and even sleep at night! So, I drove 9 hours just to be glad to leave!
I'm glad everyone on the East Coast is fine. :waving;
