Title: Bouncy and ready to go?! You've got it backwards, idiot!

OK, this wins the Bass-Ackwards Award! Here's a quote from the page:

"Since most patients who get dialysis do so regularly, technicians often form bonds with patients who they may see two or three times a week. These relationships can be very rewarding, as can be seeing tired, depleted patients walk out of a dialysis feeling bouncy and ready to go again."

OK, gang-- which of you has EVER seen a fellow patient walk out of dialysis feeling 'bouncy and ready to go again?'

I've been on dialysis for 13 years, and I RARELY have enough energy to hop, never mind bounce, after my treatment!  Whoever wrote this article obviously has never spent more than fifteen minutes in a real dialysis unit... and furthermore, they're misleading people into thinking that patients are full of vim and vigor after treatment!  Can you imagine how shocked those techs will be when they see the dead-tired post-treatment appearance of most of their patients when they start working in a unit?

And I thought the military was the only outfit that lied to people to get them into training!  >:D

Most patients look like they have been run over by a truck.  We all seem to limp out because our feet are still cramping.  GEEZ!

On the DaVita website there is a video called "the first day on dialysis."  This one girl says "After dialysis I usually go work out."  I laughed so hard at that!  My workout is making it from the car to the bed!   8)

"The best technicians are a bright spot in the lives of dialysis patients."

Oh man I love that line, If the time comes when a tech is MY bright spot I will roll my wheelchair in front of a bus.

GOD I hate ignorant people. Who ever wrote that should DIAF.

OMG thats so funny. I just have a mental image of everyone coming out of dialysis dancing and skipping and singing. ;D  ;D

Most stagger and moan and groan and like you say the only workout is getting to bed or the lis off the next bottle of pills. >:D

WTF??????   who are these people who write this crap and where can I find them?  I have NEVER seen anyone "bounce out of dialysis ready to go"!  Sometimes I do bounce out of dialysis from the freaking cramps in my feet and legs maybe that is what this idiot witnessed!

The only people who bounce out of dialysis are those who are bouncing around with a foot cramp!!!
Geez! Where do they get the lies??
