just spoke with tx nurse. hubbys PRA is 6! she is presenting him to tx team on monday. we should have an answer tuesday.
daughter spent 2 days with us out here and she and fiance are still pumped and excited about donating.
don't know what her antigen match is (donor nurse on vacation till 1st) but the young man is a 2/6 match.
toledo does not use a steroid regime. nurse said with living donor it (hopefully) shouldn't be a problem.
thank you all for the support! :grouphug; :grouphug; :grouphug;

Wow, 2/6 is about the best you can hope for with non-related donors, unless you get unbelievably lucky. PRA is fab.
This all sounds extremely positive. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

hubbys birthday is tomorrow and high school reunion is august 28. would be great to call friend who's going and say we can't as we are in the hospital undergoing transplant!
