If you are in such pain that you are unable to shower, then you definitely should stay out of work and apply for SSDI right away.  I feel as though they make rules like that just because a few of the 'bad eggs' take advantage of the system and collect benefits while they still are able to work/are working.  I actually learned a lot about how to be awarded benefits as well as the entire SSDI application process at www.socialsecurity-disability.org (http://www.socialsecurity-disability.org)

That's a pay site and the same info is usually available elsewhere for free.
Do you work for that company?

I think this person should be banned, I think they are looking for customers. Both their post have been very unusual.

I work part time, and I'm on SSDI do to blindness, not renal failure to be exact
