Anyone else developed this since their transplant? ???
I noticed white blotches coming and going on my chest a few months ago but last couple of weeks its been worse and now its on top of back and a bit on neck as well. Went to the doc who thought it was pityriasis versicolor and gave me some cream to put on it.
Well me being me I googled it which I know is never a good idea! Looks like its pretty harmless, just annoying but it said on one website it is more common on renal transplant patients because of our immunosuppressive therapy.
I guess as long as its not serious ill try and not worry but just wondered if anyone else knows anything about it.

No experience with it myself, but hope you can rid yourself of the problem quickly. Glad to hear it's not a serious complication. Good luck!

I wouldn't know if I had it unless I was told due to vision. However I see a dermatologist every 6 months and he would say something if he saw something. But, I don't want another cream if I do. I have cream for itchy spots that develop and go away frequently, cream that suppose to help prevent skin cancer due to immunos, and then there's OTC Sun Screen.
I probably have seen it in medical books though on what it is.

I have pityriasis rosea and it itches like mad. Derm Dr. gave me clobetasol propionate to put in Cetaphil lotion and it stopped the itch, but still has not disappeared. Wonder if they are related.
