Hi Im Claire and i have IgA nephropathy. Im married to a wondeful man and have 2 fantastic kids a boy 15 and a girl 5. I have had ckd for 18 months now and am rapidly progressing. My potential donor is having all of his tests very soon, so fingers crossed everything runs smoothly

Hi Claire and welcome to IHD.  I'm so glad you found us.  I've got my fingers crossed too that this transplant happens for you.

im so glad you found your way here.  Great place for you to get comfortable with whats going on and learn and share with others who have......... well, been there  ;)  I hope it all goes through smoothly and you have the time to share with us.  We love all chat, but sure is neat to watch friends move over to 'the other side'  ;D
